A question on transfering college in Canada

Would love some response on this issue.

I am joining University of Regina in January 2013 for my MBA. However I do have it in ming to transfer to Ontario in September.
How does a transfer happen in Canada?

I am a bit confuse because a friend told me that many universities don't accept transfer masters level students.
Is that true?
I don't mind to loose my credits from Uni Regina if I have to.
But Cant I start at least a whole new program in September in another university?

Transfer of credits depends on University policy, If you are going to same level of study then i think it will not be any problem,confirm one thing that should you have to inform CIC about that........

Hello Guys !!

I have similar type of query...
I got admission in sheridan college in toronto and after landing in canada immediately I want to change my college....I have following queries...

1. Can i take drop immediately after landing in canada ??? N so that i can apply in other college in other province in next intake...
2. what reason should i give to take drop...
3. Do i face any problem in post study work permit or in getting PR due to drop??
4. Do i need to inform embassy ?? because I am changing college n province..(I will not change the level of course)..
5. If I change my college and get admission for next intake...so there might be the chance that i can not complete my course in duration of my study permit because i will get admission after 5 to 6 admission (next intake)........So can I extend my visa for completing my remaining course????

Please reply and help me....
