Hi all, I am Indian, living in UAE, applying for Canadian immigration. My IELTS score was band 8, but overall CRS score is not very good, because of other factors. So I wish to take French TEF exam to be able to improve my CRS score.
Since I do not have any background in French, please guide me if as to how long will it likely to take me to reach an intermediate level in French?

Hi Bala, I hold DELF (Diplôme d’Etude de Langue Français) B2 certificate. In order to complete the intermediate level in French, it certainly needs 6 months to one year. It basically depends on your interest in the language, pronunciation skills and vocabulary knowledge. Definitely, a fun language to learn.
