Hi there,
I AM SEEKING A CLEAR ANWSER IF SOMEONE CAN PLEASE
Person lives in Egypt and is going to apply for a cisitor visa to Canada
Should he apply online and wait for a reply for a appointment with a immigration officer in Egypt.
Or should he just go to the Canadian emabassy and take his application there in Egypt...
Can someone clarify WHICH WAY IS THE CORRECT WAY PLEASE
THANK YOU
Hi,
He can either apply online or by paper submission. He cannot visit the Canadian embassy to submit his application, and he won't get an appointment with an immigration officer unless he is asked to attend an interview (which tends to be quite rare for TRV applications).
Online: Later, if he gets a passport submission request, he can either mail/submit his passport in-person to the Cairo visa office or to the Cairo VAC
Paper: He can submit his application to the VAC in either Cairo or Amman
Cheers
I would recommend applying on paper as online application from Egypt will take long time.
I applied on paper on the first time..2 weeks and the decision was made (refusal

)
I then applied once more but this time online...its now 31 days and facing some problems with my application online status and even biometrics are not updated despite giving them a month ago at VAC-Cairo.
I hope this helps.
