a false bank statement

hello, am an international student who applied for a student visa to Canada but the agent make the mistake of editing my bank statement. and now the visa office called the bank office to check my bank statement but now the bank does not reply to the visa officer! I think they can ban my account for five years. please you can give me any advice on what can I do without banning my account?

Have you received a procedural fairness letter saying you submitted fake documents? You could try and withdraw your application but not sure it will be done in time if visa office has called your bank.

You need to be wise while choosing an agent, it comes down to you and your poor research or choosing a sketchy agent. We all should learn lesson from 700+ students facing possible deportation order because of this mistake.

Your employer will have the approval for you to apply for a closed work permit.
