6 weeks vacation of the 1 year experience

Hi, I have 1 year of work experience. However, I have 6 weeks vacation during this 1 year work experience. Would that be a problem for the 1 year experience requirement?

It would be different as a reasonable period of paid vacation can be counted as part of your work experience.

Since this is unpaid you cannot count those 6 weeks of vacation as valid work experience.

Depends, are we talking about Canadian or foreign work experience? That is, are you a CEC or FSW applicant?

Under FSW, Your work experience has to be continuous for at least one year.
Depending on when you took that break, you might have to work a lot longer before you can qualify.
