I have 3 days left to submit my application for OINP. I was going to mail it out today, got to the bank to raise a bank drft and was told that I have to wait 3 to 4 days for processing.
I really goofed because i relied on the fact that in the country where i am from, you get your draft on th day you order it. here i am in a different country where things are taken easy.
Problem! by the time the draft comes the 45 days would have elapsed. do i still send my package when i receive my bank draft and risk being turned down because of the timing or should i just wait and hope fr a new PT notification?
OINP will return your application even if it reaches them on the 46th day. Ignore the PT this time around, create a fresh GCKey and EE profile and hope for another PT.

No, do not send the package now, since the package will be delivered post the 45 days deadline and OINP will reject your package. So, I would suggest the following.
1. Keep all the documents that you have prepared ready.
2. Recreate your Express Entry profile and register for Job Bank (most likely you may get a new PT NOI from Ontario)
3. Use the new EE number and Job Bank Verification Code in the OINP Application Form.
4. Update all the information wherever necessary due to the EE number changes
5. Submit the application way ahead of the 45 days deadline (since you have all of it ready now)
Hi kaydolz.. Can you please let me know as well if you receive the PT nomination from Ontario on your new EE profile.
Also, I wanted to know if we should use the same email id while creating the new EE profile.
does OINP accept split payments all at once? .....let me explain, i chose the bank draft option because i can raise a single draft up to $1500.... i can get postal orders on the spot but the maximum per order is $500, so i would have to raise 3 postal orders.
That's good news! Can you explain how you created a new profile? Did you withdrew your current profile and created a new one for the same gc key or you created a new gc key?

You can use the same GCkey.
Withdraw your existing profile first and then recreate a new EE profile.
Answer "NO" to the question "Have you previously applied to Canada?"
Update your new EE profile number and Job seeker code in your existing Job bank account.
Wait for 24 hours until your new EE profile is active again and then you may expect to receive the PT NOI from Ontario within a week or two.
