Who says that? There's no reason to assume they will issue more than 750 ITAs like they have so far. Also, definitely don't count on international students getting additional points anytime in near future.

Ok, I should have said "2000 ITAs per round", but I think they will eventually increase the ITAs per draw, at least back to the normal rate (1500).
However, former int'l students will surely receive additional points very soon, based on the presentation slide issued by IRCC and the recent meeting in Brampton by McCallum and local people.
1000 invites but cutoff score 491? While the higher number of invites is a good thing, the high cut-off scores only makes me believe that the cutoffs score aren't decreasing to 460 levels anytime soon. If they say they are going to award more points to students, that only fuels the notion that cut-off scores are only going to increase.
1000 invites is a welcome change. No one knows if IRCC increases the invites soon though. Stuck at 460 and have a sinking feeling I would need to apply for a PNP somewhere, precisely which I did not want to do and bumped up my scores from 380 to 460.
