I am just 2 months short of 3 years of work ex. Will it be considered as 2 years or 3?

Also, I have a Summer Internships that was for 2 months. Can that be counted to make it 3 years?

Internship doesn't count towards work experience. It will be counted as two years work experience.

Hi, foreign internships count for foreign work experience under FSW.

Canadian internships do not count under either CEC or FSW (Inland).

To complete 3 years you would need the following:

1) 3 years with each year where you accumulated full-time work experience (30 hrs+) per week for 52 weeks each year; or
2) 6 years with each year where you accumulated part-time work experience (15-30 hrs) per week for 52 weeks each year

In scenario (1), more than 30 hrs per week is still awarded as 'full-time experience'

In scenario (2), less than 15 hrs per week is not awarded any work experience.
