Hi, i have worked in Canada from 28th Feb 2017 to 4th Dec 2019 (working 40 hours a week in a full time job). When i am filling up the express entry profile now, it is not asking for exact dates but just the starting/ending months. As i have filled Jan'17 to Dec'19, system calculated score is based on 3 years of service. I have also got the ITA based on 3-year points. Should i go ahead with PR application or not? Because, if they are going to re-calculate my CRS based exact dates, it is less than 3 years. But if they are just going to check the start/end month, then i am good. Please suggest.
Okay, well i would not worry, i think you have put your information in the system as accurately as possible, and it's generated your score according to the way it processes it.
Thanks a lot. Thats what some consultants are also suggesting. They are saying that officials would be only verifying my documents against the submitted information in the form and wouldnt recalculate the score. But i was hoping to hear from someone who has also come across such situation and has heard from the officials. Will wait for a few days and go ahead after that.
Thanks again.

You can only claim points for 2 years of work experience.
Do your points drop below the number of points required for ITA with only 2 years of work experience? Or do you still have enough points for ITA with 2 years of work experience?

Yes, they drop below cut-off. But i havent filled anything wrong. I selected 2 years in the initial questionnaire and entered the exact month/year in the detailed experience section. System automatically calculated points as 3 years.
Hi @navin5555 i hope you’re well, it is not relevant to the topic but can I ask for your background when you applied for EE ? Did you have work experiences back home, and your CLB for English? Thank you
