Hello,

I am awaiting my PR card in mail I landed on Sep 10th 2018 (I have been living in Canada as a student before and then as a worker for past 4 years) and got married on Sep 22nd 2018. My girlfriend (then) lived with me for 3 months prior to my landing. She entered Canada as a tourist and had TRV for 6 months in June 2018.

Now, I would like to sponsor her as a spouse. We have marriage certificate and photos to justify the legitimacy of our relationship. My question is - "Will this fall under mis-representation for my PR if we declare now that she was living with me for those 3 months?"

Thanks in advance!

No it won't. 3 months is insufficient time to establish common-law status. As far as IRCC are concerned, you were merely "dating" during that time and it has no impact on your immigration status.
