I too facing the same situation.....received file number on 21/10/2014 and second line got updated on 10/12/2014, now more than 130 days no information about MR.....

Yes I applied through a consultant.But the contact number and e mail ID given is mine only.So any communication will come to me directly.so they are calling and checking with me the status and updates.Only one thing they are telling, it's all depends upon the visa office and officer, we can't do anything, only have to wait.Still I am doing the same.....what about your situation?
You should make a case specific inquiry to CIC.Processing may be delayed,but Visa office will never stop processing your application.Some times u may have received MR already.Check your spam mails.

Already sent case specific enquiry on 17th march 2014. Still awaiting response.
Only worrying thing is that there has been no security check queries at my work place or where I have worked in the past. So my file not delayed due to security checks. So where the problem lies is the thing worrying me. Bank balance also more than sufficient.
Have fingers crossed so now awaiting response from New Delhi.
