I am Anil and currently working as a software engineer in India. But my responsibilities mainly includes database activities. I am currently working on SQL SERVER and SSIS(datawarehouse). For database NOC is 2172 and when I asked reference letter from my employer they said they are not going to issue that Database Analyst title on reference letter and they said they will mentioning Software Engineering Analyst and will be mentioning the database responsibilities. Will that be ok? or Should I go ahead with 2173/2172?
thats ok. what is important is that responsibilities they mention on your referral letter should match/almost match with noc 2172. job title does not matter as if under 2172 noc there can be varied number of job title terminology as is given on noc website also. so you are good to go
