Hi my name is kim...I am sponsoring my husband in Kingston Jamaica we are at the stage where he has pass his medical his file has sent to Kingston Jamaica but nothing about them start his back ground check. Looking for advice

Its not unusual not to hear from IRCC for months after medical exam........the next step will be completion of eligibility assessment and background check which takes a while........so it good to assume spousal sponsorship process completion takes 12 months......which could help reduce your waiting stress.........relax.........its a wait game.

I sent in my file April 9 and May 15th I got the AOR1

hahah we wish .. while there are a few that get through in that time .. Im a feb applicant its July and im still waiting so .. idk 2 weeks left until my 6 month mark so lets see!!! im gonna cross my fingers! please join us in the group ( see link above) a January applicant got COPR in June so maybe just maybe ill at least get an interview date soon!
