I am a 2015 applicant and thing seems to move a lot faster. For my PR card
We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 23, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 17, 2015.
We sent you a letter on March 26, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Does anybody know what the letter might be about? I have not received any email regarding missing docuements, or any further information in that format. (Read a lot of topics here and seems like everybody is getting email but I get nothing..)

quick question: so from the time you applied was this the only communication you got? I applied for my renewal on Feb 27th and my application was received on March 3rd but I haven't heard a thing yet so I was just wondering.

Hi, I recently received my PR card here is the time line fir anyOne who have applied in this year:::
We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 16, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 14, 2015.
Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on March 13, 2015. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.
Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on March 19, 2015.
Yea thats what I was wondering as well. CIC works differently sometimes... may be it was a mistake in typing or something, I dont know, but I got my new pr card in 7 days after opening my application.

Congrats on receiving the PR card.
Can you please write what documents accompanied your application and also how many days did you have in Canada.
It might be a help for others in the forum.

Could you please share on this forum exactly what documents you sent in with your application and also did you request for urgent processing or normal. It's amazing that your application was processed so fast. I am about to send in my application for renewal of my pr card and I really don't want anything to go wrong.
