Hi Gary, I remember you from another website where we were sharing the timeline for permanent residency. I don't remember the website, but I know that you wanted to go to Montréal to work as a machinist.
Anyway I will submit my application beginning of June 2013.

Originally Sent application on 1/Dec/2012, reached CIC on 6/Dec/2012.
CIC Returned Back the app: 25/Jan/2013, reached 01/Feb/2013

Sent back my app as the application is outdated as of the last week of November. Seriously who on their right mind would upload the updated app package just a week before cutover? Do people start to prepare their app package just a week before they plan to apply? Now I need to send 'em all over. Anways, ranting aside:


Sent the duly filled new package on 5/March/2013, reached CIC on 7/March/2013.

PS: One last ranting: re-prepared the app after I received it on 1/Feb/2013. When I was ready to send it to CIC again on last week of Feb, guess what a new app package was already out and in use! (@#%^) downloaded the new package, filled all up again (although was fairly similar) and fixed the date to ship to be 5/March/2013. On 5/March, I recheck again for any further versions, HA HA you loose CIC you ran out of versions and I win. Mailed it the same day.

Yes, they added a new form with further more texts and pages with further instructions. So the older versions are outdated and not to be used!
