All of those who have applied from Kuwait to London CIC under the old rules, lets all discuss our timelines and share our experiences.
My lawyer states that i will be getting some feedback from CIC London by Feb - Mar 2010 inshallah. Also i am in the process of requesting for CAIPS notes to track the status of my application.
So lets get together and help each other.
Cheers

By the way theres a mistake you got your updated docs in 25 Feb 2007 or 2009.
Your case is almost done and now you should be getting your medicals request now Inshallah !!
i would like to ask you some questions maybe that will help me in future.
Did you apply independently and thru a lawyer ? How did u manage to give your IELTS is it tough ? What all procedures had to be undertaken when you got your docs update request ? What NOC did u apply ?
I wish you good luck and let us know when you receive any updates from CIC regarding your case..
dear all
i am indian national aged 41 mech engr, currently in kuwait
can i apply staying here or i can file in new delhi
which is best?
how long it will take
also consultancy is required?
if you plan to stay in kuwait for a long time say 4-5 years then i suggest you apply from kuwait but if you intend to leave soon then its best to apply from New Delhi. New Delhi cases are processed at a very slow rate and it has one of the highest no of applications.
Also you need to check whether you fit in the New NOC list. you can find more info on this link = http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/AboutNOC.aspx
The self-assessment test will help you determine if you meet the requirements of a skilled worker immigrant. Heres the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Ron
