please comment the following situation:
IELTS Listening - ONE WORD AND/OR A NUMBER.
The answer is 20 percent. Would it be correct to write "20%" instead of "20 percent"?
May symbol '%' be interpreted as a 'WORD'?
Both are correct. Reference: Roadtoielts' (Official website for IELTS by British Council) answer sheet where they have mentioned both the options as correct answers to a similar question
