Since you are already a Bachelor degree holder, it's quiet unlikely that you will receive visa for a 2 years lower level diploma(pursued after 12th). You may get..but can't be sure. On other hand..if you pursue a Master degree in Automotive engineering, from a Canadian university... it will not only add value to your profile, increase long term job prospects...but also..chances of your study visa being approved will be much higher.
There are two major Ontario based universities offering Master's in Automotive engineering:
1. Univ. of Windsor (http://www.uwindsor.ca/internationalprograms/meng-mechanical-engineering-auto-option)
2. UOIT (http://gradstudies.uoit.ca/future_students/masters_programs/automotive_engineering/)
Alternatively, you can also opt to go for Masters in Mechanical engineering. There are many universities offering Masters in mechanical engineering. Remember, Canadian universities usually require minimum 60%(first class) in final 2 years of Bachelor in engineering from applicants of countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. So, if you DON'T have minimum 60% in your B.E and a good IELTS score (min. 6.5), then you will have no other option but to apply for a 2 years diploma in Automotive engineering.
If you study any recognized course of minimum 2 academic years - or 4 semesters/terms - min. actual 16 months of study, you will be eligible for a 3 years PGWP.
Best of Luck.
