Hi there,
I'm from Australia. I am currently working as an accountant. I intend to do Master of International Business at Queen's University. I will opt for double degree program with HEC Paris. My course will last 16 months in total, consisting of 4 terms, 2 terms spent in Canada and 2 terms in France. At the end of my Double-Degree program, I will receive a master degree from Queen's University, along with degree from HEC Paris. Will I meet the minimum education requirement of Canadian Experience Class visa if I have completed my course? Thank you so much in advance!
Sorry. I think I had posted some inaccurate information about my course. I have just modified my post. The course consists of 4 terms, 2 terms spent in Canada and 2 terms in France. Unfortunately, 2 terms spent in Canada don't span 2 years.
Is this like an exchange program? Will Queen's university issue the degree when you graduate? I think you should ask the CIC call centre or consult an immigration lawyer to be certain.
Anyway, as of January 2013 new changes will be in effect for the CEC. Foreign workers will only need 1 year of skilled work experience and consequently, students who don't meet the requirements of the graduate stream(i.e. less than 2 years of education in a Canadian institution), will still be eligible for CEC under the foreign worker stream and need just 1 year of skilled work experience too.

Many thanks for your reply. It's a double degree program, not an exchange program. At the end of my Double-Degree program, I will receive a master degree from Queen's University, along with as well as the corresponding Masters degree from HEC Paris.
If only 2 terms / 1 academic year are spent in Canada, then it will not meet the requirements for the CEC post-graduate stream.
But you have options - as SenoritaBella says, requirements for the foreign worker stream are changing January 2013. Better yet, there's a provincial nominee program in Ontario for Master's degree graduates -
