120 day time lapse

Help.. I received an email from the Centralized Intake Office on 24th Sept 2009. It states confirmation of my payment as 13 August 2009 - The email stated that If you are not prepared to submit full documentation to the visa office within 120 days do not apply now. Once the 120 days has elapsed a final eligibility of determination will be made based on the information on file.

When does this 120 day time lapse start ? Is it from the date on the email, the date of the payment ?

Is it saying I can just apply once I've got all the information together?

I have all the information together, I just need to find a notary to approve the photocopies...

I'm worried I've missed the deadline, but haven't heard anything from the office to tell me either way.... Its very confusing...

1. It looks like you missed the deadline, as it was 120 days from the email from CIO Sydney.

Man, your 120 days started counting from Sep 24th and is already finished! I am sorry but you must have read the email more carefully. Unfortunately the deadline cannot be extended.

very sorry to hear it, I think same that your 120 days are counted from the date since Centralize intake, sidney sent you email. it would be better to re apply rather tan doing delay.

You might do so but instructions clearly say there is no way out. How could you ever assume it was 120 working days?

Immm,

The letter was very specific after 120days.It is better to re-apply just as evry1 who has contributed.Anyways best of luck and be more proactive next time.

thanks for the advice, I will try and contact the office anyway. I may send the documents in late and see what happens- For the record I was pro active, but due to postal strikes and trying to get information from Australia not everything came back to me in time. So frustratingly enough the delay isn't down to me more to circumstance.
