I graduated university nearly 10 years ago. During this 10 years I have worked in my field of IT and I have undisputed records of showing me working in the same field ( insurance and salary details ) sent to the embassy. I have applied for a post graduate study course in Quebec for 1.5 year.(which is not given or taught in my country properly) I have provided good financial status ( nearly 100k Euro ) and showed strong bonds through my family and work.
Despite being 32 years old now and with the study gap, will I get rejected immediately on my study permit or I may actually stand some % of chance.
Your point of view is deeply appreciated regardless.
Thanks for your swift reply. I have submitted my files nearly 10 days ago and have done my biometrics too. To my frail understanding, the study plan sounds legit. Yet, it is my ears and eyes and to a 3rd person it may be misconstrued or sounds implausible. I was just wondering if by a sound study plan, do I even stand a chance or people like me with study gap don't belong to further their education in colleges.

The one thing you have not mentioned in your post is the subject matter of the course given that is key to getting a study permit that it is a relevant course both to your existing qualifications and work experience.

You are totally right, the course I have taken in Canada is related to my experience and my B.S. , I have studied and worked in IT and the course is a networking course related to IT.
