I worked at a company for 3 months and then I got a better paying job in abu dhabi so I joined that company immediately with a gap of about 1-2 weeks. And then at the 2nd company I worked for approximately 9 months and then I left that company and came back in my home country. Both jobs were in the same NOC. Will this be counted as 1 year experience ? I have reference letter from both the companies in accordance with the express entry requirement.

I doubt that the gap of 1-2 weeks will be considered as a continuous work experience. I had a gap of 2 days (Sat and Sun) between 2 jobs of 7 months duration and they considered it as continuous 1 year.

I had an experience of 4 months in company A and 8 months in company B separated by 1 month. I was not considered for a continuous experience. If you have your experience in Canada, then they don't need the experience to be continuous for applying in a CEC category.
