I cant find a definite answer to this question. Could people please share their experience.
The cic website mentions 1 year of full-time work is equivalent to 1560 hrs (i.e. a minimum of 30 hrs per week for 52 weeks). There is nothing about number of weeks or days.
To complete 1 year of work in CEC class is it required to have 52 weeks of work to count as one year or as long as there is 1560 hrs we are good?
For example if somebody has worked for 45 hrs per week he/she will have 1560 hrs by the end of 39 weeks. But he/she has not completed one calendar year. Now does this count as one year or he/she is required to complete 52 weeks?
You need 1560 hours AND 52 weeks of work. If you've completed the 1560 hours in 39 weeks - you still have to work another 13 full time weeks before you can claim a year of work experience.

Do you know by any chance of the 1 year work experience has to be with the same employer? I have 10 months with one employer and then I went to a new company and so far I have 2 months in the new company. Both are full time but not with the same employer. Does this count as 1 year experiences?
