Looking to get PR in Canada and as I have used my 1 year work visa and have no skills for a skilled worker one, studying seems like my only option. However I only have money for one semester and it seems like you only get a work permit for the same length as your studies were.. What are my chances of staying in the country post studying for 8 months and working for 8 months?
Earlier I have been here for 1 year on a working holiday visa and after that in and out on visitor visas for 15 months.
Is this enough to apply for PR?
Looking to study health/nutrition of some sort on Collage level only. And Im swedish. If any of that makes a difference.

The answer depends on a number of things...
Do you already have a year of skilled work experience in Canada? What's your highest level of education?
Typically, it's difficult to turn a 1 year or less course into PR since you get such a short work permit.

No I only worked st Starbucks for a year on a working holiday. I have finished high school.
How long do you have to be here to apply for PR just for being in the country for a long time.. Or is that not a thing here..?

Time is not a thing. It depends on your level of education, Canadian work experience, foreign work experience, english level, age etc.

Ok so if I study for a year then get a work permit, how do I continue after that? Do I have to get a work invite/sponsor?
