1 year pg course following another one equal 3 year work permit ??

My name is Aman and I am from India I have completed automation and robotics engineering with 69.95% marks and my ielts score is 7.5 no band less than 6
I have applied to centennial college 2 year electromechanical technician program but didn't get any offer letter they have put my application on hold .
But I received one offer letter from Conestoga college in project management but the course is of 1 year only if I complete that course and study another year in any other 1 year program will I get 3 year work permit or not ? I can't wait for another intake . Please help me ...

But read this ... There are people saying that they don't get 3 year work permit after 1 year course following the other one year course .... ??

The guidelines say may be issued with a PGWP upto 3 years there are no guarantees and each case I expect is assessed individually. Nobody here can say one way or the other whether you will or will not get a 3 years PGWP beyond what is detailed in the official guidance. There are people who just do 1 or 2 year courses and for whatever reason get turned down for a PGWP so never any guarantee.

Also note you cannot work in the time between 2 separate courses given that is not considered a scheduled course break.
