i have finished one year in the job in canada which is LMIA exempt. Now the job offer is valid till 19 Feb 2026 which is slightly less than 1 year. I want to know can I claim the 50 points for that job offer in the express entry.

The job offer is supposed to be valid for at least one year after you get PR. So you are technically well short of that. Can your employer write a letter indicating rhet will continue to employ you for at least one year after PR?

I assume you are on a closed work permit and not an open work permit.

Yes, it is closed work permit and LMIA exempt . I am on intra company transfer to work in canada for client from India. It is a big organisation so getting any kind of such letter from company chances are less. I work 40 hours per week.

You had to come to Canada to work for a client in India? Won’t be surprised if this is Tata who seems to be offering ICTs as an employee perk.
