Follow the instructions. There is either a lag in the IT system or have requested passport in error.

If you have recieved passport request, then you should submit. Also could you plz share your time line? Like after submission how long it took to get the medical requisition?

I applied for my father-in-law's visitor visa on March 18 and received the rejection on April 1, stating that "the purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application." My wife's invitation letter noted that she is pregnant and would like the company of her parents to support her at the end. We only stated that my FIL's stay would be one month only. We also noted that my MIL already has a Canadian visitor visa and a US visitor visa. She travels often to the US and always returns.

I'm going to request the GCMS notes. What should we do? What else can I do?
