going and coming back wont be an issue ,keeping connection with your place of residency ...Canada is the main thing that you need to support all the time ,contract of work ( proof that your income still can follow the guidance of financial sponsorship ) place you are living in ( condo, house ...),and the most important thing is being in Canada when the spouse is arriving ...easy to prove when you are living in the country ...ninja attack will follow my communication ...lets have fun again yessss.

Guidance from IRCC only says 'short trips' are ok, no definition. Most seem to intrepret that as meaning eg four weeks or less. While it's clear 'enforcement' of this is not strict, it's your choice, your risk, your problem if IRCC decides more than that is not what they meant.
Do I have to update the vacation details through webform?

personally, i dont think so maybe more opinion in relation to the subject can clarify it more for you ,and once again
A Canadian citizen can live outside of Canada during the spousal sponsorship period as long as they can show that their intent is to return to Canada to live after the approval is granted.
