I have applied for inland spousal sponsorship and PA completed the 5406. The Sponsor who is a Canadian Citizen and PA have a child born in Canada. The officer returned the application saying that the form was not complete. Do we need to add the child who is 5 months old to the form?
Yes. All immediate and additional family members need to be listed in 5406 regardless of citizenship or PR.
So the sponsor should be listed as spouse and the child should be listed as child in 5406 form (both citizens).
Did you receive medical request on GCkey portal?
I received biometric validation letter on SOWP application. After how many days of this letter did you get your medical request?

After BVL, my SOWP got approved the next day.
Medical was requested after the approval. That was mainly, if we want to work in some specific field like healthcare or child care.
For that, we need medical results as well with the work permit.

Hello everyone, I applied my PR in August 31. I already received my AOR. I’m currently on study permit. Can I apply for a work permit and will I be eligible to work fulltime while they are processing my permit? I have one more semester do, I’m thinking I’ll apply work permit now and once I get PR approved I can finish my studies so I’ll have to pay only domestic tuition. My wife got laid off from her job and it is really hard for us manage expenses now. So if I can work, I can help her

There is alot to it. Every case is unique. Alot of people do apply for open work permit after receiving AOR whereas some are not eligible to the time they receive AIP. Other details are needed to give a closed response. I would recommend reaching out agent and discuss.
