Indian travel after getting Canadian citizenship

Do not include India, tbh I would interpret the question as countries visited excluding India
Just mention a tentative travel date within 120 days... I dont think so it should be a problem if you travel after 120 days

You can use Canadian passport and e-visa.

Not sure if Canadian passport and e-visa (without a surrender certificate) is possible anymore, IMHO. I am having a HARD time keeping up with how quickly and how often the Indian consulate keeps changing/adding the rules and requirements to apply for Indian visas.

All Indian visa applications for former Indian citizens now seem to ask for the surrender certificate as one of the required documents, even for emergency entry visas. It's almost as if one must get the surrender certificate in the foreign country only and they've indirectly closed the option of surrendering the Indian passport in India. The only exception may be the e-visa - unless I'm blind or missed reading all the pages on the consulate's website, it looks like the e-visa does not involve BLS and also doesn't ask for the surrender certificate. But then again, it's the Indian Consulate and as good they've been to me in the past, they're notorious for keeping information on their websites as scattered as possible to mere mortals. Thoughts/advice?

Yes e-visa is an exception and everything happens online without any intermediary involved.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mind pointing me to the consulate link where it lists the documents required for e-visa? I've gone round in circles 3 or 4 times already trying to confirm and reconfirm what exactly is required to ensure I don't submit an incomplete application. Especially since my travel to India is going to be too soon to go through the surrender process in Canada itself.

Are they expecting you to give biometric as part of e-visa process when you land in India?
