hello! I was wondering if you would be so kind as to sharing your experience with taking the test outside of Canada? I am on vacation and the date on my test date range will expire before I return. So I would need to take it outside. As yours, my letter also does not state that I need to inform them if I take it outside of Canada. Can you please advise what you did? Thanks!
I took the online test in US itself.

I received my oath ceremony email today for Feb 17th.. But Feb 17th is a stat holiday (Family day).. I thought citizenship ceremonies didn't happen on Stat holidays... Just wondering anyone else have the same date? Do I need to follow up with IRCC? Any suggestions..

We are the same day! I am not sure they will open for the ceremony or not

I think the logic is that Family Day is not a federal stat holiday, only in some provinces.

Congratulations! Is in-person or virtual oath ceremony randomly selected for candidates or is there a way (probably when completing the application) that would’ve determined if oath will be in person or virtual?? I ask because my LPP got completed on Jan 29th but nothing yet received on oath taking even though I’d prefer in person oath taking.
Not sure whether its random selection or not, in normal scenario.
Mine is a special case since my wife had to attend the citizenship test with an IRCC officer. We had filed a family application. My Assumption is that, we are having the in person ceremony because of the complex case/history.

Hi guys,

Here is my timeline:

Application submitted: Sep 21, 2024

Applicant #1 : BG completed on Nov 23, Test completed on Dec 10, Language and Physical completed on Jan 15. Prohibition in progress!!
Applicant #2 : Test completed on Dec 21, Language and Physical completed on Jan 15. BG and Prohibition are in progress!!

Any idea how long does it take for the first applicant's prohibition to be completed? how about second applicant's BG and Prohibition?
I was thinking LPP should happen all together...

Cheers !

Is there anyone here who applied at the beginning of September (4-10) and Montreal office and still hasn't gotten an oath date?
