HI all, I have been following this forum for a while. Here’s my timeline:
Renewal applied via portal: 17 December
Photo rejected, application returned: 23 December
Redid photos and resubmitted: 24 December
Application approved and PR in mail: 7th January
NO AOR, Unable to Link to GCKEY, No Email.

Called IRCC for follow up: 6th and 15th January and agent informed me yesterday that card was in mail already since the 7th of January.

as of today, I have been able to link the approved renewal application on GCKEY and it says the same: card mailed on January 7th!

Hey Guys, new to this forum, applied for PR card renewal on 6th, got to know about Inspect tool, tried but its giving this message under "Response" tab: Failed to load Response Data: Request with the provided ID has already finished loading....what does this imply? I had an error while uploading the photo so is it because my app was probably rejected or could be any other reason?

Inspect tool is meaningless without knowing how IRCC uses the underlying data. Dont' use it, complete waste of time.

I was also eligible to apply for Citizenship so I have lodged an application as of January 20th

I submitted on line pr renewal on June 9th,2024. Did not receive any email or mail. Unable to link with GC key, failed too many time. Using on line checking tool keep showing can not find. Finally got hold with a real person on that 1-888 number, told me still in process. I have travel plan in early Apr. Seven months processing time, what to do

I received Email today. My PR card finally got approved.
here is my timer line
June 9th, 2024 renewal application submitted on line
Jan 8th, 2025 contact local MP. Office replied email in less than 2 hours.
Jan 8th,2025 ordered GCMS note, which hasn’t arrived yet.
Jan 9th, 2025. MP office constitutional case manager replied email, I provided my information to her.
Jan 8th, 2025 linked application to my account.
Jan 14th,2025 look like there is an update on my account, but it’s still in processing
Jan 23,2023 received email. My PR renewal approved. Mail to me, may take up to 6 weeks
phoned that 1-888 # many times, only got hold with real people 3 times. Sent web form requests many times, not useful at all.
Regarding my case, I think MP’s request on behalf of me helped. Otherwise there would be waiting forever.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to renew my family 's PR card and have few questions, I really appreciate the answer.

1. Can I use same login to apply for my son's renewal? my son is going to turn 14 in April

2. If I just went out once for vacation outside Canada for 90 days, do I need to say "yes" in any questions except first question for going outside Canada?

3. What Can I submit in Proof of Residency for my kid? Unfortunately I do not have all his past years report cards because we moved from Toronto to some other place.

4. Does a Child application has to say "yes" in accompnying adult when travelling outside or just say yes to first question and no to all other, He was travelling with me for 90 days outside.


Please answer, I know it s bit long but I really need help and counting on my long lasted support mechanism, you all are great help

does anyone know what this means? did anyone get a similar message in gckey 1 week before they got their card shipped?

Suggest you start a separate thread. A long thread like that one is mostly about tracking pace of renewals, with some minor questions. You have a number of questions, minor and major.
