Hi,

i am planning to Travel to Maldives with RTD and I do not have PR yet. I have looked for flights with Etihad with a transit of 14hours in Abu Dhabi Airport in both ways.

can i travel without a transit visa and Can i travel with Etihad with this itinerary to Maldives? Etihad accepting RTD?

As i checked directly with Maldivian Immigration, they said we can get visa on arrival for RTD.

I’ve one more question I just check there is one declaration form and on it there is one option what’s your nationality so what I’ve to select there ? Like my old nationality i surrender my home country nationality

Your RTD already mentions your place of birth. So until you get your Canadian citizenship, your original nationality applies.

Hi,

I went to Etihad counter in Pearson Airport and inquired about visiting Maldives on RTD, they confirmed me i can travel to Maldives with RTD and no need prior visa and confitmed no need transit visa for 24 hours in Abu Dhabi airport. For Imuga they asked to put the Nationality we born.
