Taxation: Work for US company out of Canada

Hi,

I am a Canadian PR who worked for a US company based out of Michigan. I commuted to work occasionally (Twice or so a week) and other days I worked remotely from Canada. The employer had asked for my SIN and also they took regular count of days I worked out of office and remotely. They only issued a W2 for US taxes. Can someone please confirm if a T4 would be needed as well to file Canadian taxes or just a W2 is sufficient?

Left the company last year towards the year end. So this year will be filing taxes for last year.
