Applied PRTD on pr portal on Jan 17th
Got passport request on Jan 25th
Submitted passport on Jan 30th
Got passport back on feb 13th

It was urgent as my travel was in three months which I think is the criteria for urgent processing.

Dear All,

I have filed for PRTD for my son and we have received an email to submit Passport for stamping. We have opted for 2 way courier services from VFS Mumbai, considering that we have received an email with AWB number.

My query is regarding forms received in an email

1. Do we need to fill in 'Consent for Indirect Submission' page? If yes then what should we write in Name of the person?
2. Also another page where 'Applicants wishing to provide biometrics' - considering my son is 6 years old, this page should be blank. Is it correct?


Please assist with your inputs, Bluedart person will be visiting tomorrow for document collection...

December 12, 2024 - PRTD application submitted (urgent request)

December 17, 2024 - Received passport request letter from IRCC

December 19, 2024 - Submitted passport at VFS Ahmedabad

December 23, 2024 - Passport stamping under process at IRCC

January 17, 2025 - Passport dispatched from IRCC office

January 19, 2025 - Passport received with PRTD stamp
