My lawyer told me that he hasn't made any mistakes about my process so far and from the beginning he told me that it would be in mid-January. I thought it was a long time because I saw applications from the same period being approved before, but apparently he's right. He also told me that they have a deadline to meet, so wait.

No, a normal security screening. But, I had to wait from May to October without any update after giving my biometrics in May

Hello everyone,

I have been stuck in Security Screening, Comprehensive screening since the 14th May 2024, ITA 11th February 2024, AOR the 3rd March 2024. I ordered the GCMS notes twice, first time in august 2024 and the second time received few days ago. I have noticed two major changes in the second notes, the first one is that although the application status is still “ON HOLD” for both notes, but the app status reason has changed from “Suspended – Clearances” to “BLANK”. The second change is that the application changed from “Received by CBSA” to “Favorable”. Has someone experienced this kind of notes? And could we say that it is a good sign for the end of this security screening nightmare? Thanks to you all for all the valuable information that we are getting here.
