every body in here should got COPR timeline statistics PhD
Lol so this forum was started in 2021 so now if he consider all the people who joined here since 2021, I can assume more than 10000 people will have PHD in timeline statistics.
Based on what I’ve observed, I feel like AOR date matters a lot in addition to the expiration date of your COPR.
Most people that I’m seeing who’ve received their eCOPR recently (regardless of their P2 date) had their AOR as somewhere between May/June/July/August. They seem to be clearing the backlog based on AOR as a result.
So it seems like someone could theoretically, for example, have their P2 on Jan 14th and receive eCOPR today (Jan 15th) given that their AOR was in June and that it got filtered directly ahead in the queue. This might explain all the inconsistencies in the P2 to eCOPR issuance timelines.
This is just a pattern I’ve observed & wanted to share!
Nothing so far i guess. I haven’t seen any in fb and here.

This is a brilliant perspective that I haven't paid attention to, and you may be right. A friend of mine got P2 and eCOPR two days after. However, his application had stayed for almost 17 months (Inland). So this may be a valid point to consider. My AOR was September 6 so we'll see.
A few trickled it but not much. It seems most of the people who were very anxious have received.
Kindly share your good news to motivate those of us still waiting.

Thanks! My AOR was also September 6th so let’s see if we both get it on the same day (which is hopefully soon)

Sure, I will. My AOR was July 28th, P2 was Oct 30...still waiting. I called them yesterday only to get response please wait !!
If you have a visa and your stay is going to be brief then you can visit. But if you are staying long, you may need to contact IRCC so that the cancel your eCOPR and send you a visa to return. With that you can get your COPR at the border. However, if you have waited up to this stage, then I think you should just complete it and get all you need so that can travel with peace of mind. Remember that it will take more time to reroute your application.
Hi...thanks for this great information. I intend to travel to the US on 20th January and return to canada on 3rd Feb. It is for emergency and I honestly need to go. My p2 submitted on 2nd December and waiting for eCOPR. Will that be consider that as long period to be away?
74 Days since P2 & Counting !

You are staying for about 14 days. Two weeks is a lot but considering that not so much is happening with issuance of eCOPR (as in the process is not moving fast), you may want to risk it. But call IRCC and inform them that your are traveling and won't be back until Feb 3 so that they will delay sending your eCOPR. The reason is once your eCOPR is issued, you visa will be cancelled. So you may need to let IRCC know.

Yours too should be coming soon. I hate that there are no clear procedure that applicants know about so everyone is left to just speculate. Systems like this should be highly transparent IMO.
