Hello guys! My question is to find out if a US green card holder can get a work permit in Canada, either at the point of entry or online? Anyone with such experience and how did you go about the process, Thank you.

Have you secured a job offer already with an employer in Canada?
 
Yes I do. I worked with the employer until my PGWP expired and they put me on leave of absent. I applied for permanent residency and I'm just waiting for my eCOPR. However, my US green card application has been approved and am just wondering if i go to the US and returning to Canada, can i be issued a work permit or i have to apply online?

Does your employer have an approved LMIA or do you qualify for an LMIA exemption under CUSMA or another exemption?

Then you don't qualify for a work permit unless you fall under an LMIA exemption or qualify for an OWP otherwise.
