hi
I am a protected person in Canada. I received my RTD but yet still waiting for my PR. I want to travel to Cuba in a month or so and I booked my vacation with AirTransat. I emailed the Cuban embassy to see if I need a visa or not but still waiting for an answer. I wanted to know if anyone has used AirTransat for their booking and how was their experience boarding and coming back?

I used Air Transat to travel to London, UK twice and one of those times they asked for my work or study permit (hard copy not digital) in addition to my RTD.
I would first get confirmation from the Cuban embassy that you can travel with RTD and no PR ( and print the confirmation ) or check this forum for others who have traveled to cuba.

Hi I used westjet and you don’t need a visa, you can travel to Cuba with RTD, while boarding they will give you a Visa card which is visit visa equivalent. It’s better if you call AirTransat if they can give you the Visa card at the airport while boarding. Enjoy Cuba place

It’s easy to get UK visa on RTD ? And how to get it ?
it was easy for me. apply through VFS
https://www.vfsglobal.com/united-kingdom/, provide supporting docs and pay fee. got it shortly after
Could you please tell me what documents I need for visa ? I just have RTD no PR

Like any visa proof of funds, ties to Canada, reason for visit, length of visit, previous travel history all factor into visa approval.

I provided an invitation letter from my friend, proof of funds, employment letter and copy of my work permit. The first time i applied for the visa i didnt have PR. Once you start the process through VFS online they will give you a list of supporting docs. The usual/standard supporting documents are expected depending on the type of visa you apply for.
