I am waiting for my daughter's RTD which was dispatched on Nov 14. Carrier was Canada Post. I have a tracking number but has not been activated yet. I received my RTD on Nov 18 delivered by Purolator. I dont understand using two separate carriers. ‍IRCC asked me to wait for 6 weeks.

Contacted IRCC today and was told to wait till next week which will make it 6 weeks from the day of dispatched via Purolator. This is becoming a concern as I have a valid UK visa in the old RTD.

Is that means Purolator need 6 weeks at least to deliver a shipment ????

Sorry if this was asked before- but what would be the fastest way to apply for a new RTD? I sent a webform two weeks ago explaining the urgency but haven't heard back. If I mail my application and write URGENT on the envelope and attach an explanation, will it speed up things? Anyone experienced this?

Hi! Please do not wait for the webform reply. I wasted my 2 months waiting for their replies. Just send the application with supporting documents.

Today I called them again after 6 weeks but again same story “wait for your documents”

It's been 8 weeks since they dispatched my daughter's RTD. Still waiting.

I just contacted Purolator Canada ( 1-888-744-7123) and was told there's no way they would pick up packages /docs without creating label/tracking number.
It's really getting more confusing now with our RTD's
Also said at no point will they delay packages/docs that long to deliver it.

You can write a letter about you need old rtd because you have valid visa and attach that letter to your application and send them together.
