even MP members of parliament response “
Once IRCC has approved an application, it is sent to the landing unit for issuance of the eCoPRs. This unit creates its own queue and issues eCoPRs in accordance with their criteria. We are not able to take action on the issuance of eCoPRs until three months have passed since the second email has been responded to by the applicant. ..,,
@Sahilk77 Had one query if you're aware of it. I already received my eCoPR on January 06, 2025. My passport is expiring on June 13, 2025 (same as my eCoPR expiry date). Since, I had travel plans in April, 2025, I wanted to renew my passport . Now, can I get it renewed even before I receive my PR card? Do I need to inform IRCC if I renew my passport? Or I am free to update it since I was already virtually landed and became a PR? My country's high commission confirmed that the eCoPR is enough for me to update it.

Yes you can renew it anytime you prefer, your country of origin don’t care about your status in Canada, it will be good to apply for renewal as soon as possible since april is only 3 months away.
