Also my current employer is willing to give me Employer form but not providing NOC on the form. They are saying that since my education and my current job duties do not match the same NOC, they are unwilling to provide any info related to NOC in the Employer form. How do I convince them to provide the correct NOC on the form..? So frustrating..

Hello All, I have done my education in interior design and have been working in Ontario for more than 2yrs now being on PGWP. Although an interior designer, I have been having the job duties and responsibilities of a BIM Technologist or a Design and drafting Technologist. I am currently in a big dilemma - what NOC should I mention as my primary NOC on my application? Education and job title corresponds to NOC 52121 (Interior Designer and Interior Decorator) but all job duties and responsibilities for past jobs and current job align with NOC 22212 ( Drafting Technologist and Technicians). Moreover my current employer is bit skeptical to provide any info related NOC on the employment letter which may be other than my educational background, rather they do not want to mention about NOC at all. I expect more chances of receiving the invitation for NOC 22212, if we compare the current trend of invitations for NOC 52121 and 22212. I am worried that if I apply by using NOC 22212, but have my education and job title not corresponding to it, then I may have my application get rejected. Any type of guidance is appreciated. Thanks..!!

You should use the NOC of your current job.

My WP is valid until July/2025. But my wife did not ask for the PGWP... So, I assume that I have 3 years additionally.

Congratulations!!! My Employer is willing to support me with the Employer Job Offer under Foreign Worker Stream and I have same NOC code 22221 as yours. My issue is that my WP is expiring soon so in case if I get invitation under this stream then what will be my options? Can I apply for a WP extension or should I apply for a Visitor visa in order to maintain the status? Also, is it mandatory to include NOC code in the job reference letter? I am not sure if there will be draws in coming months but I would like to be prepared with everything. If you can provide more information that would be a great help for me. Once again congratulations!!!

Does anyone aware status saying additional processing time needed ?

I noticed it updated from additional processing time to decision in progress, I got ITA since Jan 19, NOC 13100. I can’t understand why it has taken this long. Thank goodness I still have pgwp valid

Exactly,my company had to finish my contract ,but are willing to hire me back if OINP answers fast,but till now nothing...I am trying everything and also the MPP is trying to help...but as I said before....not much hope,I am just waiting to take my decision to go back...I Have a wife and a son and we can't wait much more... unfortunately

I am really happy to write here again
I was approved on 31st July and my company hired me back November 4th.
I had to apply for WP again with the oinp support letter and asked to expedite it ,which gave me a letter saying that I could work while waiting the decision on the work permit..
Also I applied my P.R and waiting

Life is back on track ...for now
