It depends on where you applied from. In theory, SDS application should be turned around in 20 days but we have seen lately it takes approx 3-4 months. with SOWP together it may take longer. IRCC is still in sleep mode so plan your backup.

Prepare to wait. I applied on Oct 1st for SP and I'm still waiting for a decision.

You can apply from the US if it is your country of residence like on a work permit or study etc.. If you are a visitor in the US then you will likely be unsuccessful.

I'm from Brazil and the processing time here is too slow.

If you receive a Passport Request within the next 3-4 months it would be a miracle from what I am reading.

There has been no true timeline.

I used to think it was 13 weeks but that has passed for me and many people in here so just expect to wait.

I applied on the 30th of November 2021
Upfront medical done.
Biometrics - 3rd of December.
Medical updated - 24th Jan
No Review started
No PPR
