Both are similar they say send your passport but one has an ircc Ottawa adress to send

Hi all, nowadays what is the TRV validity is being given? is it till work permit expiry or passport validity? I read that some people are getting till their passport expiry, is there any pattern here? like giving more days in stay program in imm form?

Counter foil generated today, got expiry date till passport expiry. Return Tracking Id not yet activated.

How to send passport for final stamping? VFS did not mention any other documents, is it just the 'Original passport request' and the passport, or any other document should be attached? Sending it to CVAC at los angeles
