does your ghost update coincide with when your background verification was completed? I 2 ghost updates this week. I thought it had to do with finally this whole thing coming to an end, but was then disappointed because I think it was just because I hit the 1-year mark from when my background verification was completed and they had to update something (hopefully not redoing the background verification, lol). So frustrating!

I've really lost hope now. I can understand why making decision takes a different amount of time for different people, I don't know why the wait time are so different after they've actually made their decision. I hope they'll at least decide not do re-do our background verifications.

I got a ghost update last week and yesterday I got interview email. My background check hit the 1 year expiration so I thought another check.

No I don’t have decision made. Only background and test are complete.

everyone I've seen that got an interview got invited to ceremony shortly after. So I guess congratulations are in order!

I moved to another address in the same city and when I updated the new address on ecas, my citizenship ceremony updated from in progress to not started. Ecas is still on decision made, I think it will take more few weeks to months to get oath invite.

I guess wait is the only thing you can do right now, after Covid and Afghanistan IRCC got one more reason/excuse of Ukrainian war. So all the best ahead.

I don’t think it’s due to the address change since you are in the same city. Unless you entered your address wrongly with a different post code (meaning not in the same city). Try to call IRCC on Monday to find out more.
