IRCC received my application back on Oct 2019 and the ARO is Jan 2020 and background Jan 2020 since that day nothing, no exam or even an email and every time i submit a web form nothing happens now my passport got expired and I need to travel is that normal that no exam even till now.

I Contacted my MP he got back to me with the same information i wrote above, I only knew about the ATIP last week and i request it but as mentioned here it may take months
Finally got updated on my oath ceremony scheduled.

Received the invitation letter yesterday by email.
I had oath ceremony done on Jan 4, 2022 and received Citizen certificate on Jan 21, 2022.

it's infuriating... At the same time IRCC triest to boast and pretend that they are doing a fantastic job in "modernizing" and overhauling the system. This is ridiculous... Particularly if your background check had already been completed, it seems like there really should not be anything holding your file back for test invite.
have you tried contacting local news outlets? I've heard of people who's files moved faster after their story got shared by the news. This is purely anecdotal and could be a coincidence, but maybe worth a shot (if you have the energy to pursue that path)

There are no publicly listed contact details for individual offices. Some applicants that have received email requests from different places have used those accounts to inquiry about their files (with various levels of success). But no, there is no public MTL or Mississauga phone number that you can just call and talk to an officer.
