I have a Computer Systems Analyst job offer and NAFTA format letter also an educational evaluation along with my original certificates and Canadian passport.
I just attended the TN at rainbow bridge and the offer said i am not eligible as i hold 3 years bachelors degree in computer applications from India which is equivalent to 3 years bachelors degree in the USA. She said she can’t count 15 years experience at all. I had an education evaluation but she is not satisfied as it says it’s equivalent to 3 years USA degree.
I thought of talking to an attorney but they are very expensive, what should i do ? is it good idea to go again at peace or lewiston ? Kindly advise.

Surely 3 year bachelors from India is not equivalent of 4 year US bachelors. Only with uscis its easier to show that you have x number of years of education for showing 16 years of education but it seems cbp doesnt.
You should have done more research. If the rule requires you to have bachelor's degree or you are claiming to have bachelor's degree then you should have it fully at academic level, not the equivalent with substitute.
Navigating the rules in foreign country should be dealt with going by books exactly as it says.
You cant do anything. It same as denial of visa at consulate or denial of petition at uscis. I dont think you have right or its actually worth it. You would loose for sure 100%. if this was the case, there are millions of people who got denied by uscis, cbp and consulates and they all wanted to sue them. Its their country and their rules and in your case of denial entry is just not within your right. Hardly GC holders have rights on entry into US. During the trump bad, many GC holders too were denied as foreign individual has almost no right in foreign land to seek entry.
If i were you, i would just try to find a way if you qualify for tn visa with your 3 year degree. Not sure if its 3 years then you need to have it done from Canada/US but check out on new tn rather than trying to dig up on denied entry.

TN visa has been abused so much they have started reconsidering how it's to be given out. Folks who thought Canada as a gateway to US unfortunately this is coming to an end. Tons of folks now have been declined. Good luck on your case though.
That is unfortunate, sorry. I believe the NAFTA/USCMA states that for that NOC you require "A bachelor’s degree is common in computer, information science, or other related fields." They are being strict on what is "other."

The other thing that I have read is that going formally through USCIS (when applied by the employer) generally seems to have a higher success rate than border crossings.
