For recent approvals, since they are taking a long time to process.

- Do they set the PGWP expiry date on the date PGWP was issued/approved? Or the date that the application was sent?

That's great then. If they approved ours by March/April, we'll have a bit of an extended stay.

We applied last January.

I had an emergency and have to travel and my visa is expiring soon. I have applied work permit online but no response.

Yes you can. But considering the numerous protests along the border and the federal govt’s declaration of an emergency expect road closures, long wait times, reduced staffing, etc. you might want to think twice. The situation is very volatile, but if you’ve made up your mind I would suggest you to contact the relevant border crossing you’ll be heading.

Congrats hopefully I get mine soon. They updated my file with my medical last week but that was the last update. I applied October 15th.

Hi Guys, how long after the approval we suppose to receive the physical letter of PGWP in mail? My friends's PGWP got approved but didn't get it yet after 8 days he lives in edmonton, is that normal ?
