Hi guys, last year I had seen some posts where VOs been overly lenient. Some people uploaded someone else’s document, some uploaded blank forms, some didn’t mention visa refusals etc & still got PR. Do you think, they maybe atleast partly lenient this year? I have to send some updated docs, what do you say?
In my opinion if you need to update or correct your forms do it. Although they may not ask you, it's better to be on the safe side.

My medical status changed form passed to "we don't need your medical exam" yesterday. I guess the reason is it has been 1 year since the medical exam. Is anybody has the same issue? How to solve it?
Thanks for your response.
Same situation but when I spoked with IRCC agent they said medical was cleared not sure why it got changed as of now everything seems good if VO requires new medicals you will get notifications in your online application.

i got GU I thought I cleared security check but medicals was changed, I’m going to send webform with my new medicals

I requested for a refund in TR to PR and I got. I did this because I got a nomination from another province and I haven’t gotten AOR from TR to PR then. Now they have sent me my AOR and I have want to continue with the application. Do I need to pay back the fee immediately or wait till they request for the payment? Your response will go a long way.
Wait for there email for payment then pay the fee.

I have already sent 3 webforms & didn’t get even automated email confirmation about either of those

Same situation here. I have sent my marriage certificate via webform in December and didn't get any confirmation email. I raised another webform for follow-up in mid-January and the agent confirmed the file is received by the responsible officer. Don't worry, they will add your files to your application even though they don't send a confirmation.

This is what they've told me:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Congratulations on your marriage!

Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can't give accurate processing times for most types of applications. We're currently prioritizing applications from people who are exempt from travel restrictions.

We understand that this may be a difficult time for you and we are here to assist you by providing you with the information we have available at this time.

If you've already applied, we invite you to visit our website to check your application status. Client Support Centre agents cannot give you more information than what is already in your online account or in the Client Application Status tool.

If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it. It will also take longer to process an application if we need you to submit extra documents.

Rest assured that we are making all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible, and that you will be informed when a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

IRCC is working on giving you the most updated information as the situation evolves, and all our efforts are dedicated to answering your concerns. Our website is updated regularly as more information is made available.

Given these circumstances, we invite you to continue visiting our website regularly to receive up-to-date information as new announcements are made and to obtain information on travel restrictions and changes to our services that may affect you.

We also verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the marriage certificate was received by the responsible office.

Hello everyone,

Today, I received the first-ever update saying, I need to submit a payment receipt. Any idea how long it will take to receive PR confirmation, after the submission of my payment slip?

Message: As below,

Dear Client,
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
We have received your TR to PR application, along with a copy of your payment receipt. Due to a system issue at the time you made your payment, our system currently displays your fees as being unpaid.
These outstanding fees may include your processing fee, right of permanent residence fee, and/or biometrics fees. In order to continue processing your application, please submit a new payment receipt for all processing fees within 7 days from the date of this letter.

Do I need to pay the fees again?

Thanks in advance.

I'm surprised I didn't get any ADR after receiving AOR.

Specially because I'm in Quebec, and I didn't show any proof or plan to settle in Ottawa, ON yet.

Timeline in signature.

Hey guys,
my friend made 2 stupid mistakes and I would like to know if he can do something before it's too late:
1. he printed and signed the imm008 and uploaded it.
2. He didn't understand the question about the city intended to live in so he answered Montreal where he is currently living and that's a reason for refusal since the program is not for Quebec.
he didn't receive anything yet, no AOR, no linking..
Is there anything he can do? thank you guys in advance.

•Printing and signing is not a mistake, if anything in certain cases IRCC requested ppl to print and sign the documents.
•Second one is a tough one, the best your friend could do is send a webform as soon as he gets an application, hopefully in his case he gets stuck on a temporary application number stage, giving him enough time to send a webform and for the webform to get accepted and added on to the file before a processing officer starts working on it.
