Oh don’t be. I’m frustrated from those who applied in May 2021 and have already had their oath. I’ve come to just accept that it’s unfair and we’ll eventually get it.

It usually takes anywhere between 2 days to 2 weeks. most of the time less than a week

I applied in september 2020 too, i honestly lost hope ill get the test invite before my trip back home in the spring and at the 3rd of Jan i just woke up and saw it. it was very sudden. keep your head up it will come and when it does thing will go quickly hopefully

Dang! This thread is pretty discouraging as a fellow Ottawa applicant who applied online. Is everyone who are still waiting for movement on their file a paper applicant or is it expected to be a long wait as well if you applied online?

Ottawa office in general moves at a sloth’s pace. I think avg time gap between every stage of the application is about 4-6 months.

I dont think this is accurate tbh, it's just something they say to manage our expectations. i mean dont take it as a metric to see trends

It just gives us an idea, for every 2 weeks of application range they took 3.5 weeks to get things done . This mean for December applications we looking to get oath end of 2022 . What a mess
